OUR MISSION
Turd Herders’ Mission is to provide quality pet services and products to the busy dog owner. We strive to make the lives of every pet’s family more enjoyable by completing the not so fun tasks of caring for a pet and providing the products that every dog owner needs.
OUR BUSINESS
We are a family run business that enjoys the outdoors and loves our pets. We know how nasty it can be to have to clean up the dog poop, or other pet poop, after work or even worse, on the weekend. As dog owners this is probably the worst thing about owning a dog. With Turd Herders you no longer have to worry about this disgusting task! Just give us a call!
We have had every type of animal imaginable in our time together as a family. From the tame (dogs and cats), to the farm (horses and goats), to the exotic (snakes and lizards), so we can handle whatever kind of pet you have.

That’s me, the face of the company. After 20+ years in a career where I spent more time away from family than I can remember I decided it was time to make a change, so Turd Herders has been launched. I fully understand how important family time is and offer my time so you can have more family time.
Having left her job as biology teacher, Melanie now runs all facets of the dog walking/pet sitting business. She is also our Pet First Aid and CPR instructor, so her teaching experience comes in handy.
Zachary is still in the process of figuring out what hard work is. When he’s not playing school sports he is helping out with the store and taking care of boarding clients. Occasionally he
even comes and helps
scoop the poop!

Scooping Trainer
Gabriel is at that age now where he really wants to help out. He is always telling one of us how to do our job. He’s going to make a great manager some day. Don’t believe me? Just ask him!
Our original trainer. Samson crossed the rainbow bridge back in September 2016. He was friendly, obedient, and a fierce defender of the family. He died of lymphoma at the age of only 6.
Nora is our newest trainer and a ball of energy. She’s more than happy to run and play all day with any dog that will let her. She hasn’t found another dog that can keep up with her yet!
